The 5 Hole: Stunned in Motown

As the Islanders have fought back into the mix for a playoff spot, the one question remained: Can begin to find success on the road?

That question would be answered tonight, as the red-hot Isles were in Detroit for the only time this season against old teammate Frans Nielsen and the Red Wings.

With 22 of their final 34 regular season games on the road, New York needed a strong start knowing they will be spending most of their time away from Barclays Center. On to the contest, where the Isles off a bad bounce lost 5-4. Recap can be found below:
