According to thescore.com, the New York Islanders are America’s hockey team.

The bandwagon is filling up, with a reported 32 out of 50 states colored orange, rooting for the Islanders, via “Geotagged Twitter data that Betonline.ag gathered in the last week.” In a shocking twist, the Eastern Conference rival, Tampa Bay Lightning are the least popular club of the remaining four teams, with the Vegas Golden Knights claiming second, and the Montreal Canadiens claiming third.

The Islanders just took a 1-0 series lead over the Lightning Sunday afternoon, and look to pad their lead before going back home to Nassau Coliseum for Game 3.
