The 5 Hole: No Show in Raleigh

It’s become obvious over the years that whenever the Hurricanes and Isles face off, the games always have twists and turns. These teams have only met once this season back in early October when the Canes picked up an overtime win 2-1 which was very rare since Thomas Greiss was in net. Tonight the tables stayed the same. The Islanders were embarrassed 6-3. They will have a chance to get that bad taste out of their mouth Monday against Detroit. Top social media bites can be found below.

Inserts sad face emoji.

That hashtag is fire.

The same story way too many times.

That’s an understatement.

So will that get him on Isles fans good side? Prediction: probably not.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Blatantly true.

I wish I was doing the same.

Never does when its against the Canes.

Perfect reaction.

Me either.

This is hysterical but classic.

It takes one to start.

That’s two.

Bet on this man!

Still not happy.

Hammer with the finger wag.

Need it desperately.

Can I please? I’m begging you!

Excellent question.

It’s been that way since the game started.

Another gem from tonight’s debacle.

Not cool bro.

Oh those years, oy vey.

I believe it.
